question regarding ss and lb double point weekend - Guild Wars Forums

Right now I am SS r.8 and LB r.3, my question is when I go back and start doing Hm missions and vanquishing will that be enough to max both titles? Or should I do a little farming this weekend, if so how much farming and where is the best place to farm for points.

The best farm for this is Wurming outside Remains of Sahlaja. while doing the quests A Show of Force and Requiem for a Brain (look them up on wiki) and taking the bounty from the shrines for undeads and margonites. You can do it with 7 heroes, or just join a pug, I guess there will be plenty once the event begins. Just make sure not to complete the quests, especially do not activate all the margonite shrines for A Show of Force. Rinse and repeat, it gives nice points quite fast.

You'll easily max out SS simply by taking bounties while vanquishing. So, no farming required there. Lightbringer may require some farming, but If you've got Nightfall Books, turning them in for LB points will cut into any farming you may have to do for that.

ya as NBK says, do the vanquishing and turn in both your NM and HM book for lightbringer. That should put you at max SS and quite close to max LB. I'd recommend doing the LB vanquishes during the double weekend, that will get you max.

At that rank you'll definitely max Sunspear by vanquishing. Lightbringer will likely need more work.

I was r8 SS and r...5? I think? LB when I started vanquishing. I finished SS after finishing Istan and two Kournan areas. LB I was about 5,000 points short on, so I had to do a bit of farming (and I also revanquished a couple Vabbian areas while testing out new Dervish builds).

I'd say do as much Lightbringer as you can this weekend, since it's a SS/LB weekend. That will help you greatly. And vanquish before farming, so that way you don't waste time farming stuff you don't need to. Plus, three (nearly) simultaneous titles is nice. Do some cartography at the same time for even more efficiency there

Maxing SS is also much easier now with Zaishen Vanquish quest rewards. I'd imagine the same is true for LB. I don't know if LB will be maxed with just VQ and turning in the HM book though. SS definitely even without the book.

If you are going for guardian, vanquisher of elona, it is very hard to not max SS.

Even if you don't take the 'optimal' route for each area and take all the bounties to maximize points, u'll still max that title.

I would spend the weekend away from your title character, and farm sunspear on other characters that need it for the PvE skills. (this is only relevant ofc you you are interested in speed clears or something). Because you probably won't wanna vanquish on these characters.
